Mumbai-based IoT smart lock startup Ikin Global has secured $2 million in a Pre-Series A2 funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures, Callapina Capital, and AWE Funds.
The latest investment will support the company’s international expansion plans, product innovation, manufacturing scale-up, and team growth as it strengthens its presence in the global logistics security market.
Founded in 2012 by Nibu Alias, Ikin Global operates under SectorQube Technolabs and develops IoT-enabled smart locks and bolt seals designed to improve cargo security and supply chain visibility.
How Will Ikin Global Use The $2 Million Investment?
The newly raised capital will be deployed to accelerate expansion across key international markets, including the United States, Europe, and West Asia.
The company also plans to invest in product development, manufacturing capacity, field operations, and talent acquisition. In addition, Ikin aims to obtain market specific certifications required for entering new geographies and industry segments.
The funding comes as global supply chains increasingly adopt smart monitoring technologies to improve security, traceability, and operational efficiency.

What New Products Has The Company Launched?
Alongside the funding announcement, Ikin Global introduced two new solutions aimed at strengthening supply chain security.
The first product, iBS Pro, is a reusable smart bolt seal designed for cargo protection and monitoring. The second, Smart GPS Truck Lock (iTSS), is a fixed smart lock equipped with AI-powered intrusion detection capabilities that can identify unauthorized access attempts in real time.
These launches expand the company’s portfolio beyond traditional logistics security solutions and position it to address a broader range of industrial applications.
What Are Ikin Global’s Future Expansion Plans?
According to founder and CEO Nibu Alias, the company plans to introduce edge computing enabled smart locks and expand into industries such as oil and gas, defence logistics, cold chain transportation, mining, ocean freight, railway cargo, and cash management.
The startup also intends to strengthen its sales and after-sales service network across India, the US, and the UK over the next 12 to 18 months.
With rising demand for connected logistics infrastructure and secure cargo monitoring, Ikin Global is aiming to establish itself as a global player in the IoT-enabled supply chain security market.
