Healthtech startup CARPL.ai has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), with participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and other undisclosed investors. The fresh capital will help the company enhance its AI-powered medical imaging platform, accelerate product innovation, and strengthen its global expansion strategy.

The latest funding comes after the company raised $6 million in 2023 from Stellaris Venture Partners and a group of angel investors. With increasing adoption of artificial intelligence in healthcare, CARPL.ai is positioning itself as a global infrastructure platform that enables hospitals to seamlessly deploy and manage AI applications for medical imaging.

Funding to Accelerate Product Development and Global Expansion

According to the company, the newly raised capital will be used to strengthen its technology stack, accelerate product development, and expand its global sales and delivery teams.

The investment is expected to help CARPL.ai scale its platform while supporting healthcare providers seeking to integrate artificial intelligence into radiology workflows. The company also plans to deepen its international presence by serving more hospitals and healthcare institutions across global markets.

The backing from IFC highlights growing investor confidence in AI-driven healthcare technologies that improve diagnostic efficiency and patient outcomes.

Building an AI Marketplace for Medical Imaging

Founded in 2018 by Vidur Mahajan, CARPL.ai has developed an AI-powered platform that allows hospitals and radiologists to discover, deploy, manage, and monitor multiple medical imaging AI applications through a single interface.

Instead of integrating separate AI tools individually, healthcare providers can access a centralized platform that simplifies deployment and management across various imaging workflows.

The company’s marketplace currently hosts more than 300 AI applications from over 100 technology vendors, enabling hospitals to choose solutions that best match their clinical requirements.

Serving Hospitals Across Multiple Global Markets

CARPL.ai has established a growing international footprint, serving 30 hospitals and medical centres across North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Latin America.

Its customer base includes leading healthcare organizations such as the Singapore government, RadNet, I-MED Radiology, Fleury, Medica, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in India.

The diverse customer portfolio demonstrates increasing adoption of AI-powered diagnostic technologies across both developed and emerging healthcare markets.

AI Continues to Transform Healthcare Diagnostics

Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly important role in medical imaging by assisting radiologists in detecting abnormalities, prioritizing cases, and improving diagnostic accuracy.

Rather than replacing clinicians, AI platforms like CARPL.ai are designed to integrate multiple specialized imaging algorithms into existing hospital systems, enabling healthcare providers to improve workflow efficiency and reduce reporting times.

As hospitals continue investing in digital transformation, demand for interoperable AI infrastructure platforms is expected to grow significantly.

IFC Investment Reflects Confidence in Healthcare Innovation

The participation of the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, underscores growing institutional interest in scalable healthcare technologies that can improve access to quality medical services.

By supporting AI adoption in radiology and medical imaging, CARPL.ai aims to help healthcare institutions deploy advanced diagnostic technologies more efficiently while enabling vendors to reach hospitals through a unified marketplace.

With fresh funding, a rapidly expanding AI ecosystem, and customers across multiple continents, CARPL.ai is well positioned to strengthen its leadership in AI-powered medical imaging infrastructure. As healthcare providers increasingly embrace artificial intelligence to improve patient care, the company plans to accelerate innovation while expanding its presence in key global markets.
