Mitigata Secures Fresh Capital To Accelerate Global Expansion

Bengaluru-based cyber resilience startup Mitigata has raised $15 million in a Series B funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Titan Capital, and WEH Ventures also participated in the round, reaffirming their confidence in the company’s growth trajectory.

The fresh funding comes less than a year after Mitigata raised $5.9 million in its Series A round led by Nexus Venture Partners in August 2025. The latest investment highlights growing investor interest in cybersecurity and cyber resilience solutions as enterprises face increasingly sophisticated digital threats.

How Will Mitigata Use The Funds?

According to the company, the newly raised capital will be deployed across multiple strategic initiatives. A significant portion will be used to expand Mitigata’s international presence, strengthen its artificial intelligence powered cybersecurity offerings, and scale its Security Operations Centre (SOC) capabilities.

The startup also plans to invest heavily in talent acquisition, including hiring cybersecurity experts, AI researchers, engineers, and domain specialists across industries such as banking, healthcare, manufacturing, and technology.

Additionally, the company intends to expand the operational capacity of its Security Operations Centres located in Bengaluru and Delhi.

What Does Mitigata Do?

Founded in 2023 by Mohit Anand, Sarthak Dubey, Mayank Morya, and Akshit Kaushik, Mitigata offers a unified cyber resilience platform designed to help enterprises manage security threats, compliance requirements, incident response, cyber risk intelligence, and cyber insurance through a single solution.

Unlike traditional cybersecurity tools that operate in silos, Mitigata combines multiple security functions into an integrated platform that allows organizations to monitor risks, respond to incidents, maintain compliance, and improve overall cyber preparedness.

The company serves enterprises across banking, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and ecommerce sectors.

AI-Powered Security At The Core

A key differentiator for Mitigata is its proprietary cybersecurity copilot, Gordon AI. The platform uses artificial intelligence to automate threat detection, incident response, and security analysis, enabling organizations to respond to cyber threats more efficiently.

According to the company, its AI-powered Security Operations Centre processed more than one million security incidents during the past year. This demonstrates the scale at which the platform is already operating despite being a relatively young company.

Mitigata also integrates with leading global cybersecurity platforms including Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, and SentinelOne, allowing businesses to manage security operations through a unified environment.

Serving More Than 800 Enterprises

The startup claims to serve over 800 enterprise customers across India. These organizations rely on Mitigata’s platform for continuous monitoring, cyber risk assessment, compliance management, and incident response.

Currently, nearly 95% of the company’s revenue comes from the Indian market, reflecting the rapid growth of cybersecurity spending among Indian enterprises and institutions.

As digital transformation accelerates across sectors, organizations are increasingly investing in proactive cyber resilience measures rather than focusing solely on reactive security tools.

International Markets In Focus

With the new funding, Mitigata is preparing to expand beyond India. The company plans to enter markets across the Middle East, North Africa (MENA), and Southeast Asia as part of its first phase of international expansion.

The startup is also evaluating opportunities in the United States, one of the world’s largest cybersecurity markets.

Management believes the demand for AI-driven cybersecurity platforms is rising globally as organizations seek integrated solutions capable of addressing increasingly complex cyber threats while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Growing Demand For Cyber Resilience

The funding round comes at a time when cyberattacks, ransomware incidents, and data breaches continue to rise across industries worldwide. Enterprises are shifting their focus from traditional cybersecurity products toward comprehensive cyber resilience platforms that combine prevention, detection, response, recovery, and risk management capabilities.

With fresh capital, a growing enterprise customer base, and expanding AI capabilities, Mitigata aims to position itself as a global cyber resilience platform while strengthening its leadership in India’s rapidly growing cybersecurity ecosystem.
