Bengaluru Startup Aims To Bring Hospital-Grade Medical Care Directly To Patients’ Doorsteps
India’s healthcare sector is undergoing a major transformation, with patients increasingly seeking convenient, accessible, and personalized care beyond traditional hospitals and clinics. Betting on this growing shift, healthcare entrepreneur Praveen Gowdru has launched Tez Health, a Bengaluru based startup focused on delivering hospital grade healthcare services directly to patients’ homes.
Founded in January 2026 by Praveen Gowdru, Ramesh Yadav, and Dr Haripriya, Tez Health is building an on-demand healthcare platform designed to make quality medical care faster, more accessible, and affordable for millions of Indians.
The startup aims to bridge a critical gap in India’s healthcare ecosystem by enabling patients to access medical assistance, diagnostics, physiotherapy, nursing support, and other healthcare services from the comfort of their homes.
“We are building a new category of healthcare delivery where patients receive trusted medical care whenever and wherever they need it,” said founder Praveen Gowdru.
From Building VMEDO To Launching Tez Health
Gowdru brings nearly a decade of healthcare entrepreneurship experience to the venture. Prior to launching Tez Health, he founded VMEDO, a healthcare company focused on emergency medical services and occupational healthcare solutions.
In 2026, VMEDO’s home healthcare division was spun off to create Tez Health, allowing the new venture to focus entirely on transforming home based healthcare delivery across India.
The company’s vision is rooted in a simple idea: healthcare should reach patients instead of patients having to navigate crowded hospitals, clinics, and long waiting times.

Building India’s On-Demand Healthcare Network
Tez Health combines technology, healthcare professionals, and operational infrastructure to deliver medical services directly at home.
The platform currently offers a range of services including doctor consultations, nursing support, diagnostics, physiotherapy, injections, follow-up care, and urgent healthcare assistance.
With a growing network of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and healthcare partners, the startup is building a decentralized healthcare ecosystem capable of responding quickly to patient needs.
Backed By Early Funding And Ambitious Expansion Plans

Tez Health has secured approximately ₹2.5 crore in early-stage funding, including founder investments and angel capital.
The startup currently serves patients across Bengaluru and plans to expand into multiple metro cities over the next few years. Its long-term goal is to build one of India’s largest on-demand healthcare networks and serve more than 10,000 patients daily.
As home healthcare emerges as one of the fastest-growing segments within India’s health-tech ecosystem, Tez Health is positioning itself at the intersection of technology, convenience, and patient-centric care.
