Mumbai-based B2B fintech startup GetVantage has raised ₹63 crore (around $6.6 million) in a Series A1 funding round comprising a mix of equity and debt. The round was co-led by Rajeev Ahuja and SanRaj Group, with participation from Chiratae Ventures, Varanium Fintech Fund, and VCMint.

With the latest fundraise, GetVantage’s total committed funding capacity has crossed ₹700 crore, strengthening its ability to provide growth capital to India’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its platform while accelerating its transition into an AI-native capital gateway for businesses.

Fresh Capital to Strengthen AI-Native Financing Platform

According to the company, the newly raised funds will support business expansion and accelerate the development of its AI-native capital gateway.

The platform is designed to provide MSMEs with faster, smarter, and data-driven access to growth capital, helping businesses secure funding without traditional lending hurdles.

By leveraging artificial intelligence and automation, GetVantage aims to simplify financing for entrepreneurs while improving credit accessibility across India’s underserved MSME sector.

Helping MSMEs Access Growth Capital Without Equity Dilution

Founded in 2020 by Bhavik Vasa, GetVantage operates a B2B embedded finance platform that enables businesses to access growth capital without giving up equity or providing heavy collateral.

The company embeds financing solutions directly into marketplaces, B2B commerce platforms, and merchant ecosystems, allowing businesses to apply for funding within the platforms they already use.

Its business model is focused on addressing India’s estimated ₹30 lakh crore MSME credit gap, providing entrepreneurs with faster and more flexible funding options.

AI and Alternate Data Power Credit Decisions

GetVantage differentiates itself by using alternate data, predictive analytics, and AI-driven underwriting to evaluate businesses based on actual cash flows rather than relying solely on conventional financial metrics.

This technology driven approach enables the company to reduce friction in the financing process while helping founders and MSMEs secure capital more efficiently.

By analyzing operational data and business performance, the platform aims to improve lending decisions while expanding financial inclusion for small businesses.

Building an Embedded Finance Ecosystem

A major focus for GetVantage is expanding its Capital Gateway, a plug-and-play API ecosystem that enables digital platforms to embed financing directly into their merchant networks.

The company plans to scale integrations with B2B e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and logistics hubs, allowing merchants to access financing without leaving the platforms they use for daily business operations.

In the coming months, GetVantage also plans to announce several strategic seller financing partnerships with leading digital ecosystems, further strengthening its embedded finance capabilities.

Supporting Women Entrepreneurs and SaaS Startups

Beyond its core financing platform, GetVantage has launched specialized funding initiatives to support underserved founder communities.

In March 2024, the company introduced the Rise Up Fund, a ₹100 crore initiative dedicated to providing growth capital to women entrepreneurs.

Earlier that year, it also launched SaaS Accelerator Fund II, designed to support B2B SaaS startups by offering tailored growth financing solutions.

These initiatives reflect the company’s broader strategy of addressing funding gaps across different segments of India’s startup ecosystem.

Strong Investor Backing Fuels Next Growth Phase

GetVantage is backed by a strong group of institutional investors, including Chiratae Ventures, Varanium Fintech Fund, Sony Fund, and InCred, alongside several industry leaders.

With total committed funding capacity now exceeding ₹700 crore, the company is well positioned to expand its embedded finance infrastructure and support thousands of Indian MSMEs seeking growth capital.

As digital lending and embedded finance continue to reshape India’s financial services landscape, GetVantage aims to become a leading AI-powered financing partner for businesses by combining technology, data-driven underwriting, and seamless capital access through digital platforms.
